Al Strike
Al Strike was a lawyer and leader on multiple local and regional initiatives in post-secondary education, for Rotary International, and on major community projects including Skate 88 and Splash. The latter community pool and recreation complex bears his name. A driving force behind Valleys 2000 as a member of its Board, he was a major proponent and fundraiser for the fish passageway which continues to thrill visitors each year.
