The fish by-pass channel is a great location to view spawning salmon and trout. Standing on the bridge over the channel allows the viewer some spectacular views of the fish as they move upstream. The fall migration begins in late August/early September and usually peaks around early October. By the end of the month, most of the fish have spawned and died.
