Lampricide
Lampricide, a chemical used to target and kill Sea Lamprey in their larval stage is applied in slow-moving or deep water sections of streams. This chemical has little or no impact on other organisms living in the streams where it is applied and is not harmful to humans. Used since the 1950s this is the most effective method of controlling Lamprey populations.
